Agartala: Nov 13: Even though the chief minister has changed in the state, the policy of the government has not changed. Left student youth organizations have been conducting regular blood donation camps to meet the demand of blood in blood banks. And since the establishment of the current government on this camp, the miscreants of the ruling party have been continuously terrorizing it. Therefore, the Left Student Youth Organization’s question to the present Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha is whether to stop the blood donation camps in the blood banks of the state to allow the blood crisis to continue, or to continue the blood donation camps for the sake of the people.
DYFI state president Palash Bhowmik raised the same question while addressing a press conference on behalf of DYFI and TYF at Chhatra Yuva Bhavan on Sunday. He said that against this kind of terrorism of the ruling party, a larger protest program will be taken by collecting public opinion in the coming days. Because the ruling party wants the opposition political parties to stop the blood donation camp through terror. But it was strongly condemned by DYFI and TYF. Meanwhile, DYFI state secretary Nabarun Dev said that the state government is unable to clarify how many government jobs have been obtained in the last four and a half years. During the tenure of this government, there is a shortage of work day by day. The government has no initiative to fill up the vacant posts in various departments.
When the youth are taking to the streets in protest, they are being harassed by the police. The government has continued the recruitment process in various departments on a temporary basis instead of making permanent appointments. Therefore, intense youth movement will be organized in the entire state from November 15 to 17 in protest, he said.
