​ ​ Agartala: Nov 13: A woman named Bina Rani Das was drowned in pond water and the dead body of the woman was recovered at about 7 am in the morning today. The incident took place in Amar Pur East Rang­amati area under Gom­ati district. The po­lice of Amar Pur Bir­ganj police station quickly rushed to the spot after receivi­ng information about the incident.​ The police of Amar Pur Birganj police station is initially inves­tigating how the dea­th of the woman took place; is this acci­dent or other issue? In the details of the incident, it is known that Bina Rani Das was often in a state of intoxication. It is expected that she was intoxicated last night and acc­identally she fell in the pond. Due to suffocation in the po­nd she died. Her body was floating in the pond water this mo­rning.
