Agartala: Nov 12: Every day, from the main referral hospital of the state to the sub-district and district hospitals, the patient’s relatives go helplessly for blood. Sometimes you have to make requests through social media, and sometimes even going to people’s houses, many patients’ families are seen wandering around in desperation for blood because blood is not available in any pharmacy. And blood cannot be bought from any shop even if you pay crores of rupees. This blood donation camp occupies the noblest and best place of humanity.
But while incidents like attacks on humanitarian activities like blood donation camps in the state of Tripura have taken place in the past few days, Saturday’s incident is completely different, which may catch the attention of the entire state. The miscreants of the ruling party have been accused of burning the blood donors in the camp. Miscreants have set fire to the blood donation camp. The incident took place in Barapathari, Belonia sub-division. Allegations are directed towards miscreants supported by the ruling party BJP. It is known that the blood donation camp was organized at the house of DYFI leader Bhola Chakraborty as per the pre-arranged announcement. But miscreants carrying BJP flags started gathering in Barapathari market from this morning. Miscreants attacked the blood donation camp the moment it started. Bhola Chakraborty’s house started a terrible rampage with various weapons including sticks, sticks and rods. Somehow the blood donors escaped from the scene and survived.
Then various items were allegedly brought to the blood donation camp, flag festoons and bicycles of the blood donors coming to the blood donation camp and set on fire. Later, two blood donors were found on the street and beaten severely by BJP-backed miscreants. Police and paramilitary personnel along with firemen rushed to the spot after receiving the information. The fire was brought under control after a long effort. And those involved in today’s incident are Bimal Pal, Sadhan Sheel, Sajal Biswas, Binod Sen, Manik Majumder, Ranjit Sarkar of the local mandal. DYFI State Secretary Nabarun Dev alleged that 30 to 40 people under their leadership had organized this incident in a press conference later.
He also said that the miscreants of BJP tried to burn the blood donors in the blood donation camp. If the police do not arrest anyone within 24 hours after this incident, then it will be clear that this incident has taken place on the orders of the Chief Minister. And if any patient dies due to lack of blood then Chief Minister and State Health Minister Dr. Manik Saha will be responsible for it. He also demanded that the word “doctor” placed before the name of the chief minister should be dropped. He also said that recently it has been seen that the police are not working impartially. After the incident of terror, the ruling party is working on the responsibility of how to safely evacuate the miscreants from the scene. He alleged that all the incidents are being organized in front of the police.
