Agartala: Nov 07: The Joint Movement Committee of sacked Teachers issued a seven-day deadline to the state government and the chief minister after a meeting at the Agartala Red Cross Society Hall on Monday. Ajay Kumar Debbarma, a teacher who lost their job, said that former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb had assured that he would present the report in the Tripura Legislative Assembly on the investigation of the sacked teachers.
But as the former chief minister could not present this report in the last assembly session of the current government’s five-year tenure, the assembly was raided on September 26. But it was seen that the government left the movement by inciting state terror. Later, under the pressure of the chief minister of the former government, he called the assembly and said that after discussing with the legal advisers, the decision will be announced officially. He assured that a decision would be taken on 10,323 by Diwali. But a month has passed till now the Chief Minister has not taken any decision regarding the sacked teachers.
Setting a deadline for this government, they said that if the state government does not take any decision within seven days, then the JMC 10,323 dismissed teachers will embark on a larger movement. And they also said that this movement can bring the state to a standstill. The surprising thing is that the JMC leaders have made the clan conflict clear by strongly arguing with the 10,323 affected teachers who are on hunger strike near Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan today. And without any kind of movement with them, they are on hunger strike to death, said dismissed teacher Dalia Das. And said the position of 10,323 affected teachers’ society is not right because they first fought on the side of the government.
Currently, the government is on hunger strike. On this day, he alleged that he was involved in a serious conspiracy. Although on this day some of the JMC leaders were seen by the passers-by at the hunger strike stage a few days ago. In fact, questions have started to arise whether there is any kind of conspiracy behind it. Again, in reality, the question arises in the public mind that how correct is the position of the teachers who lost 10,323 jobs.
