Like the rest of the country, the condition of the farmers in Tripura state is dire. Farmers are suffering from rice cultivation due to rats and birds. And the past few days have seen farmers hit by not being able to sell the government’s paddy at the right time. Now is the prime time to buy paddy. If a positive decision is not taken from the department to buy paddy in the next few days, the farmers will be forced to approach and establishment of official paddy procurement centers in tribal areas. If not, he expressed the opinion that the impact on the farmers would be severe.
