Agartala, December 14: Atleast 14 State Civil Service officers have been promoted to Indian Administrative Service (IAS). The promotion has been given to fill the vacancy. The President issued that order.
The 2018 list for IAS promotion includes Dilip Kumar Chakma, Ratan Biswas, Tapan Kumar Das, Rakhi Biswas, Suithuifr Mog and Kuntal Das. Similarly, Tamal Majumder, Nirmal Adhikari and Mohammad Muslim Uddin Ahmed are in the 2019 list. The 2020 list includes Shankar Debnath, Uttam Mondal, Usha Jain Mog, Ratnajit Debbarma and Sanjay Chakraborty. Meanwhile, two cases related to the promotion of Jayanta Chakraborty and Usha Jain Mog are pending in the Supreme Court and the Tripura High Court. The next steps will be taken after the judgment of the case is announced.
